Responsibilities
- Design and implement next-gen autonomous driving perception systems using LiDAR, radar, and computer vision
- Develop real-time decision algorithms for complex urban driving scenarios
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware/software solutions
- Conduct rigorous simulation testing and validate system performance in controlled environments
- Document technical specifications and contribute to ISO 26262 safety compliance
- Mentor junior engineers and stay current with industry research publications
Qualifications
- Masters degree in Robotics, Computer Science, or related engineering field
- 3+ years experience with autonomous vehicle perception systems
- Proficiency in C++, Python, and ROS 2.0 framework
- Strong background in machine learning and sensor fusion techniques
- Familiarity with automotive safety standards (ISO 26262)
- Demonstrated project portfolio with autonomous systems implementation
- Excellent problem-solving skills for real-time system debugging
