Responsibilities
- Monitor server performance and network infrastructure 24/7 to ensure optimal system availability and uptime.
- Resolve complex technical issues and ticket requests from internal stakeholders and clients with minimal downtime.
- Perform routine system backups, patch management, and security updates during off-peak hours.
- Collaborate with the Day Shift engineering team to implement infrastructure improvements and security protocols.
- Document all system changes, incidents, and resolutions in our ticketing system to maintain accurate records.
- Conduct nightly security audits to identify vulnerabilities and ensure data integrity.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT Support or System Administration.
- Experience working in a Night Shift environment is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Network Troubleshooting.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or CCNA are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills to bridge the gap between technical teams and non-technical staff.
