Key Responsibilities
As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be the backbone of our shipping and receiving operations. Your role will involve coordinating shipments, managing inventory levels, and ensuring that our clients receive their goods on time and in perfect condition.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate incoming and outgoing freight shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse staff to restock supplies as needed.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve shipping discrepancies.
- Ensure all safety protocols and compliance standards are met within the warehouse environment.
- Prepare shipping documents, bills of lading, and customs paperwork accurately.
- Optimize logistics routes and schedules to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Train and mentor new warehouse staff on operational procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain management.
- Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
