Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring optimal workflow and productivity.
- Manage, train, and mentor a team of supervisors and floor staff to maintain high performance standards.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance to ensure a zero-incident workplace.
- Develop and implement operational strategies that reduce costs and improve service levels.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain teams to prevent stockouts.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with upper management to forecast staffing needs and manage budgets effectively.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management.
- Proven track record of leading teams in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required.
- Valid forklift operator certification (or willingness to obtain).
