What You Will Do:
As a Weekend Shift Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our daily operations run smoothly. You will lead a team of dedicated associates, manage inventory, and ensure that all safety protocols are strictly followed.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all daily warehouse operations during the weekend shift, ensuring timely order fulfillment and accuracy.
- Supervise a team of 5-10 warehouse associates, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using our ERP system and conduct cycle counts to reconcile stock discrepancies.
- Enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety standards and company policies to ensure a zero-accident workplace.
- Coordinate with the Monday-Friday management team to communicate stock levels, staffing needs, and operational challenges.
- Train new hires on equipment usage, safety procedures, and standard operating procedures.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics management.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate and direct a diverse team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and holidays as required.
