Responsibilities
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate the timely receipt and storage of goods to prevent stockouts.
- Process shipping and receiving documentation, including BOLs (Bill of Lading) and packing lists, ensuring accuracy.
- Communicate effectively with vendors, carriers, and internal departments to resolve logistics issues promptly.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track stock movement and generate performance reports.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies in the warehouse environment.
- Manage incoming and outgoing freight, inspecting cargo for damage and verifying quantities.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Supply Chain or Logistics preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Strong understanding of logistics software or WMS (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manhattan) is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods in a warehouse setting.
