Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight: Manage and oversee all daily warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, and inventory control during weekend shifts.
- Team Leadership: Direct a team of warehouse associates, providing clear instructions, training, and support to ensure maximum productivity and safety.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a zero-incident work environment.
- Quality Control: Monitor workflow to ensure accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory accuracy.
- Problem Solving: Resolve operational bottlenecks and address personnel issues efficiently on the floor.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit shift reports regarding productivity, accidents, and inventory discrepancies to upper management.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a logistics, warehousing, or manufacturing supervisory role.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and occasional holidays.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Business or Logistics is a plus.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lead a diverse team.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
