Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 Technical Support: Resolve complex hardware and software issues for internal users via ticketing systems (Jira/ServiceNow).
- System Maintenance: Perform routine patching, updates, and server monitoring during weekend shifts to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Hardware & Network Support: Assist with laptop deployments, printer configurations, and basic network troubleshooting.
- Incident Management: Prioritize and escalate critical incidents to the on-call engineering team during the weekend.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of all support tickets and resolutions in the knowledge base.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in IT Helpdesk or Technical Support.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, and basic networking concepts.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff.
- Availability: Must be available to work Saturday and Sunday, 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM EST.
