Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-grade cloud architectures on AWS/Azure
- Lead migration projects from on-premises to cloud environments
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, security, and cost efficiency
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline implementation
- Provide technical guidance to development teams on best practices
- Conduct infrastructure assessments and create improvement roadmaps
- Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and certifications
Qualifications
- 8+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in cloud architecture
- Expert-level AWS/Azure certifications (Solutions Architect or equivalent)
- Proven experience designing multi-cloud solutions
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS)
- Security-first approach with compliance expertise (SOC2, HIPAA)
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder presentations
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
