Responsibilities
- Design and architect highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Lead migration strategies and implement best practices for moving on-premises workloads to the cloud.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to define technical standards and DevOps workflows (CI/CD).
- Perform cost optimization analysis (FinOps) and implement strategies to reduce cloud spending.
- Conduct threat modeling and implement security controls in accordance with AWS security best practices.
- Mentor junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Document architecture diagrams, system designs, and operational runbooks.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience designing and deploying solutions on AWS.
- Deep expertise in core AWS services: EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, CloudFormation, and IAM.
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on system resilience and performance tuning.
- Strong communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
