Responsibilities
- Monitor system performance and network infrastructure during the night shift to ensure maximum uptime.
- Resolve technical issues and service tickets reported by internal users with minimal supervision.
- Perform routine data backups, updates, and security patches on scheduled off-hours.
- Document technical incidents, resolutions, and procedures to maintain knowledge base accuracy.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to hand over critical issues and ensure seamless operations.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety and security protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associateās degree in IT or related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in technical support, customer service, or IT operations (1+ years preferred).
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic scripting knowledge.
