The Georgetown Group is seeking a highly motivated and organized Teen Executive Assistant Intern to join our dynamic team in Washington, DC. This is a premier opportunity for high school students to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced corporate environment. You will support senior executives with daily operations, calendar management, and correspondence, providing a pathway to professional development and mentorship from industry leaders.
We are looking for a proactive individual who is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and eager to learn the ins and outs of executive support.
Responsibilities
- Manage and schedule executive appointments, meetings, and complex travel itineraries.
- Compose, proofread, and distribute professional correspondence, including emails, memos, and reports.
- Prepare meeting agendas, take detailed minutes, and distribute action items to stakeholders.
- Conduct research on industry trends and prepare briefing materials for leadership.
- Coordinate office events and manage visitor reception.
- Maintain filing systems and manage digital databases.
- Assist with data entry and basic financial tracking.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in high school (Grade 11 or 12) or a recent high school graduate.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Reliable transportation to the Washington, DC office.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional discretion.
