Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and support with daily living activities
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist nurses with medical procedures and treatment preparations
- Maintain clean, organized patient environments and equipment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure patient needs are met
- Transport patients safely within the facility as required
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols and confidentiality standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (CNA certification preferred)
- Minimum 1 year healthcare experience or relevant training
- Current CPR certification (or obtainable within 30 days)
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends as needed
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license (if transporting patients)
