Responsibilities
- Operational Excellence: Efficiently load and unload inbound and outbound shipments using RF scanners and powered industrial trucks (PIT).
- Inventory Management: Accurately verify stock quantities, scan items into the warehouse management system (WMS), and organize inventory to ensure optimal flow.
- Equipment Handling: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect products for damage or defects before storage and ensure all packing materials are utilized correctly.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace by following all safety protocols and reporting potential hazards immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and cross-functional departments to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidates.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a full-time basis.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly in a fast-paced environment.
- Documentation: Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and comfort using handheld scanning devices.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
