Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in emergency/trauma units during weekend shifts
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated care
- Respond to critical situations with rapid assessment and intervention
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Current Colorado RN license required
- BSN preferred with 2+ years acute care experience
- BLS/ACLS certifications mandatory
- Weekend availability essential (Sat-Sun, 7am-7pm)
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Experience with Epic EMR system
- Ability to handle high-pressure emergency scenarios
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
