Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient intake, scheduling, and registration during weekend shifts
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality
- Assist providers with clinical support including specimen collection and vital monitoring
- Handle patient inquiries and resolve concerns with empathy and professionalism
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain weekend workflow efficiency
- Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA compliance and safety protocols
- Participate in weekend staff huddles and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare certification preferred
- 1+ years of patient-facing healthcare or customer service experience
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic experience a plus)
- Strong communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced weekend environments
- Basic medical terminology knowledge
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and Sundays with rotating holidays
- CPR/BLS certification required (training available)
