Responsibilities
- Perform clinical procedures including vital signs, EKGs, and injections
- Assist providers with patient examinations and minor procedures
- Manage electronic health records and patient scheduling
- Handle lab specimen processing and inventory management
- Deliver patient education on treatment plans and medications
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and OSHA safety protocols
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for seamless care delivery
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and documentation
- Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and workflows
- Valid CPR certification and TB clearance
- Experience with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
