Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake assessments and vital sign measurements
- Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical equipment
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and patient charts
- Coordinate patient flow and communicate with care teams
- Handle basic laboratory specimen collection and processing
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Active BLS/CPR certification
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work Saturday/Sunday shifts (6AM-2PM or 2PM-10PM)
- Washington State MA certification required
