Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments
- Prepare patients for exams, take vital signs, and update medical records
- Perform clinical tasks including EKGs, injections, and specimen collection
- Manage inventory, sterilize equipment, and maintain clean exam rooms
- Provide exceptional patient education and support
- Coordinate with nursing staff to ensure seamless patient flow
- Document all procedures accurately in our EHR system
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA/NCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/Cerner experience a plus)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends/holidays
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- High school diploma or equivalent required
