Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment
- Perform vital signs and basic diagnostic tests
- Manage patient records and electronic health systems
- Administer medications and immunizations under supervision
- Handle patient scheduling and communication
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and confidentiality
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a healthcare setting
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Proficiency with EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- North Carolina state license or eligibility
