Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in emergency, critical care, and general medicine units
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient vitals and document electronic health records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for coordinated patient care
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery
- Maintain strict compliance with OSHA and hospital safety protocols
- Participate in rapid response and code blue activations
Qualifications
- Current TN RN license (compact license accepted)
- BSN preferred; ADN with 2+ years experience considered
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Experience in telemetry or ICU units preferred
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems
