Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in fast-paced emergency and critical care units
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
- Administer medications and perform diagnostic procedures with precision
- Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records (EHR)
- Mentor junior nursing staff and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Respond effectively to critical situations using advanced life support protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Kentucky (or compact state eligibility)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Proficiency with Epic EHR systems
- Demonstrated critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Strong communication abilities with patients and families
