Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute care settings, including medication administration and treatment monitoring
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient assessments and progress accurately in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care
- Respond swiftly to emergency situations with critical thinking and decisive action
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards
Qualifications
- Active California RN license with no disciplinary actions
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Proficiency in Epic EHR system
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
- Strong communication skills and cultural competence
