Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care during weekend shifts (Sat-Sun 7am-7pm)
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient vitals and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for seamless care transitions
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and hospital protocols
- Precept new staff members during weekend rotations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Florida (FL RN)
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Weekend availability mandatory (no exceptions)
- Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
- EMR proficiency (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and commitment to patient advocacy
