Responsibilities
- Delight patients with exceptional front-desk and clinical support during weekend shifts
- Accurately measure vital signs, collect samples, and prepare patients for examinations
- Masterfully manage electronic health records (EHR) and appointment scheduling systems
- Coordinate seamlessly with physicians and nursing staff to optimize patient flow
- Administer injections, medications, and treatments under provider supervision
- Maintain sterile examination rooms and inventory of medical supplies
- Provide clear patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a fast-paced healthcare setting
- Proven ability to thrive independently during weekend shifts
- Expertise in EHR systems (Epic/EMR preferred)
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Pass background check and drug screening
