Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vital signs, and clinical documentation
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor procedures
- Administer injections and medications as directed
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Coordinate patient flow and appointment scheduling
- Maintain sterile exam environments and inventory
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
Qualifications
- Active Maryland Medical Assistant certification
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently on weekends
- Flexibility to cover on-call shifts if needed
- Background check and drug screen clearance
