Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including vital signs, injections, and wound care
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor procedures
- Accurately document patient information in EHR systems
- Manage front desk operations including scheduling and billing
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical equipment
- Coordinate patient education materials and discharge instructions
- Collaborate with nursing and administrative teams
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA and medical protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in fast-paced environments
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday) is mandatory
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
