Responsibilities
- Oversee Weekend Operations: Manage the entire workflow from start to finish, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a secure working environment for all personnel.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and manage stock discrepancies to prevent shortages.
- Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in current workflows and implement solutions to improve productivity and reduce waste.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit daily shift reports, including productivity metrics and any operational issues.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or operations management.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead a team effectively and handle conflict resolution.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Technical Proficiency: Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management software (WMS) is a plus.
