Responsibilities
- Oversee daily nursing operations and staff performance management
- Develop/implement evidence-based care protocols and quality improvement initiatives
- Coordinate interdisciplinary patient care teams and ensure regulatory compliance
- Mentor and develop nursing staff through training programs and performance feedback
- Conduct incident investigations and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with hospital leadership on strategic planning and resource allocation
- Ensure patient safety standards and infection control protocols are maintained
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Indiana with 5+ years clinical experience
- Minimum 2 years in leadership/supervisory role
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (MSN preferred)
- Strong knowledge of JCAHO and HIPAA regulations
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Experience with electronic health records (Epic preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams in fast-paced environments
