Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in fast-paced emergency department setting
- Triage patients accurately and prioritize critical interventions
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for complex cases
- Maintain precise documentation in EMR systems
- Participate in trauma activations and code blue responses
- Mentor new staff and uphold departmental standards
Qualifications
- Active KY RN license required
- Minimum 2 years ED experience preferred
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications mandatory
- BSN degree strongly preferred
- Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- EMR proficiency (Epic preferred)
- Strong teamwork orientation
