Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced nursing care to critically ill patients in ICU setting
- Monitor and interpret patient vital signs using advanced monitoring equipment
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for coordinated patient care
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in EMR systems
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery processes
- Respond rapidly to emergency situations with precise interventions
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Kansas required
- BSN degree with current BLS/ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years ICU or critical care experience
- Proven expertise in ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
- Strong clinical judgment and rapid decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication skills for high-pressure environments
- EMR proficiency (Epic systems preferred)
