Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor 8-12 night shift team members, ensuring task completion and safety compliance
- Manage inventory counts, cycle counts, and warehouse documentation systems
- Coordinate with day shift supervisors for operational continuity and handovers
- Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) and train team members
- Implement safety protocols and conduct daily safety inspections
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows for maximum efficiency
- Resolve operational issues and escalate complex problems to management
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years warehouse experience with 1+ years in leadership/supervisory role
- Forklift certification and OSHA safety training required
- Proficient in warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night shifts
- Excellent communication skills for cross-shift coordination
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for 8+ hours
