Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in emergency and critical care units during night shifts
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for seamless patient transitions
- Respond to critical incidents with calm professionalism and quick decision-making
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and hospital protocols
- Preceptor new staff members during night shift rotations
Qualifications
- Active NM RN license (required)
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience (preferred)
- BLS/ACLS certifications (current)
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure situations
- Strong documentation skills in Epic EHR systems
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexible schedule availability (weekends/holidays required)
