Responsibilities
- Monitor Systems: Oversee server performance, network traffic, and hardware health during night shifts to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Ticket Resolution: Prioritize and resolve incoming technical support tickets and user issues in a timely manner.
- Security Management: Implement and enforce security protocols to protect sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access.
- Backup & Restore: Perform routine data backups and execute disaster recovery procedures to safeguard company assets.
- Hardware Maintenance: Diagnose and repair broken laptops, printers, and peripherals to keep the office running smoothly.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed logs of technical issues and resolutions for future reference and training.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or system administration.
- Night Shift Availability: Must be willing and able to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10 PM - 6 AM).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and basic networking concepts.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems independently.
- Certifications: CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification is preferred.
