Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor procedures
- Manage patient records using EMR systems
- Prepare and administer medications under provider supervision
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure efficient clinic operations
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
- Maintain sterile examination environments
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- Proficiency in medical software (Epic/EMR preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced urgent care settings
- Flexibility to cover evening/weekend shifts
