Responsibilities
- Load and Unload:** Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload shipments from trucks and trailers.
- Inventory Management:** Accurately count, sort, and organize inventory using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Packing & Shipping:** Prepare packages for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and securing items to prevent damage.
- Maintain Safety Standards:** Adhere to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Quality Control:** Inspect products for defects and report any discrepancies immediately to the shift supervisor.
- Team Collaboration:** Work closely with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Education:** High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience:** Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Physical Requirements:** Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Availability:** Must be available to work flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends as needed.
- Driver's License:** Valid driver's license is required.
