Responsibilities
- Design and deploy secure, high-performance AWS infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications using ECS and EKS
- Optimize cloud costs while ensuring 99.99% uptime and compliance with SOC 2 standards
- Mentor junior engineers on cloud best practices and architecture patterns
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate infrastructure monitoring with Datadog and Prometheus
- Lead incident response for cloud outages and implement preventive measures
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on AWS experience with 3+ years in enterprise environments
- Expert-level proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation)
- Deep knowledge of Kubernetes (EKS), Docker, and container orchestration
- Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or DevOps Engineer
- Proven track record of reducing cloud costs by 20%+ while improving performance
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions)
