Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures during night shifts
- Administer medications and injections per physician protocols
- Perform vital signs and EKGs for emergency patients
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Coordinate patient care between departments during overnight hours
- Respond to patient calls and triage urgent situations
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize equipment
- Manage inventory of medical supplies
Qualifications
- Current Colorado Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in urgent care or hospital setting
- BLS/CPR certification (AHA preferred)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail in documentation and procedures
- Flexibility to work rotating night shifts (7PM-7AM)
- Proficient in EHR systems (Epic experience preferred)
- Valid Colorado driver's license
