Responsibilities
- Assess and treat patients with acute injuries and illnesses in urgent care setting
- Administer medications and perform diagnostic procedures per protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure HIPAA compliance
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Triage incoming patients and prioritize urgent cases efficiently
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and emergency response drills
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (required)
- Minimum 2 years urgent care or emergency room experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Experience with Epic EMR systems preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
- Spanish bilingualism a plus for our diverse patient population
