Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop and execute strategic foresight frameworks that inform R&D priorities, product roadmaps, and market expansion strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed future-ready principles into business operations and innovation processes
- Deliver compelling executive briefings and stakeholder presentations translating complex future scenarios into actionable insights
- Establish thought leadership through whitepapers, industry conferences, and media engagements on emerging trends
- Design and manage strategic partnerships with academic institutions, research labs, and innovation hubs
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of future-oriented thinking across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate strategy with proven 2020+ impact
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI ethics, and climate tech
- Exceptional data synthesis and scenario planning abilities with experience in Delphi methods and trend analysis
- Track record of translating future insights into successful business initiatives and revenue growth
- Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to influence executive decision-making
- Published thought leader or keynote speaker at major innovation conferences (e.g., CES, Web Summit)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ strategic initiatives implemented based on future foresight work
