Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions affecting 2026
- Develop and present strategic foresight frameworks to guide multi-year business planning
- Facilitate executive workshops and stakeholder sessions to align organizational vision with future opportunities
- Author comprehensive scenario analyses and risk mitigation strategies for 2025-2027 planning cycles
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-proofing principles into innovation pipelines
- Establish thought leadership through white papers, industry conferences, and media engagements
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future planning roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology impact assessment
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field preferred
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for executive audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-strategy implementation in Fortune 500 environments
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS) or relevant industry designation
