Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal trends through 2026
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for enterprise adaptation to exponential change
- Design and implement foresight methodologies across global R&D and product divisions
- Deliver executive briefings on emerging risks and opportunities in AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology
- Establish cross-functional innovation labs to prototype future-state solutions
- Author thought leadership publications positioning Horizon Dynamics as a future-shaping authority
- Partner with venture capital arm to evaluate frontier technologies for strategic investments
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field with 8+ years applied experience
- Proven track record of translating foresight into actionable business strategy
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight publications
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on long-term adaptation strategies
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Studies preferred
