Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate, quantum) to forecast disruptive opportunities through 2030
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks for executive leadership teams
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-state solutions
- Author visionary whitepapers and scenario-planning documents for Fortune 500 clients
- Build and curate an expert futurist network across 15+ industries
- Mentor junior strategists in horizon scanning and trend analysis methodologies
- Present future-state narratives to C-suite and board stakeholders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in futures or innovation publications
- Certification in Foresight Methodologies (e.g., from AC/FS) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-shaping projects
