Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive opportunities through 2030
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks guiding multi-billion-dollar R&D initiatives
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to embed future-thinking into corporate strategy
- Present compelling future scenarios to stakeholders across 15+ global markets
- Build and mentor a cross-functional innovation lab focusing on 2026+ capabilities
- Pioneer proprietary methodologies for quantifying future market readiness
- Author industry-defining white papers on emerging technological paradigms
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into commercial success
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Expertise in scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from WFS or APF) preferred
