Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify and quantify disruptive trends affecting 2026 market landscapes
- Develop and maintain multi-year innovation roadmaps aligned with organizational strategic goals
- Facilitate C-level workshops on scenario planning and future-state envisioning
- Architect proof-of-concept frameworks for emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuro-interfaces, etc.)
- Establish KPIs for measuring innovation velocity and future-readiness maturity
- Lead cross-functional teams in rapid prototyping and pilot programs
- Publish thought leadership reports on industry transformation trajectories
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into commercial innovation
- Expertise in scenario planning methodologies and trend impact assessment
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive audiences
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Innovation Management preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-state strategy implementation
