Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, scalable AWS solutions including Lambda, S3, and ECS architectures
- Lead migration projects from legacy systems to cloud-native environments
- Optimize cloud spending through FinOps practices and cost automation
- Mentor junior engineers on cloud best practices and DevOps methodologies
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins
- Conduct disaster recovery planning and compliance audits
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on AWS experience with 3+ years in a senior role
- Expertise in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Proven track record of designing high-availability, fault-tolerant systems
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks (CIS, SOC2, HIPAA)
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS) and serverless computing
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Go, or Bash)
- Certifications (AWS Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer) preferred
