Responsibilities
- Design and implement resilient cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
- Lead migration projects for legacy systems to cloud-native architectures
- Optimize cloud costs and performance through continuous monitoring and automation
- Develop security-compliant solutions meeting FedRAMP and CMMC standards
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer code reviews
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to enhance deployment efficiency
- Document architecture decisions and maintain technical roadmaps
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cloud engineering experience with AWS/GCP certification
- Expertise in infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Strong background in container orchestration (Kubernetes, EKS)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI)
- Familiarity with federal security compliance frameworks
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Go, or Bash)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
