Responsibilities
- Architect and design the core inference and training infrastructure for Project 2026, ensuring scalability and high availability.
- Lead a team of elite Machine Learning Engineers and Research Scientists to implement novel optimization techniques for transformer models.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical roadmaps and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Optimize model performance for edge deployment and massive distributed cloud environments.
- Conduct rigorous research to evaluate new architectures and methodologies that could leapfrog current industry standards.
- Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, with a focus on Machine Learning or Deep Learning.
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience in designing and deploying large-scale machine learning systems.
- Extensive proficiency in Python, PyTorch, and C++.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, GPU optimization, and cloud-native technologies (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Proven track record of publishing in top-tier AI conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ACL) or open-sourcing significant ML tools.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive projects from conception to production.
