Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum circuits and error-correction protocols for commercial deployment
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating quantum algorithms into real-world applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for Fortune 500 clients
- Research and implement novel qubit technologies (topological, photonic, trapped ion)
- Design fault-tolerant quantum systems targeting 99.9% algorithmic fidelity
- Collaborate with MIT and Caltech on 2026 quantum roadmap initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum error correction
- Publication record in Nature/Science journals on quantum computing
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Experience with cryogenic systems and quantum hardware integration
- Strong background in machine learning and classical HPC optimization
- Track record of leading quantum computing projects with measurable ROI
