Role Overview: In this part-time position, you will leverage your extensive network and technical expertise to identify, source, and place high-caliber candidates in software engineering, data science, and cybersecurity roles. You will play a pivotal role in our direct-hire strategy, ensuring we meet our aggressive hiring targets.
Responsibilities
- Sources and identifies passive and active candidates through various channels, including LinkedIn, Boolean search, and industry networking events.
- Conducts comprehensive phone screens and technical interviews to assess candidate skills, culture fit, and salary expectations.
- Manages the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for direct-hire positions, from requisition to offer acceptance.
- Builds and maintains a robust pipeline of qualified technical talent.
- Collaborates closely with hiring managers to understand technical requirements and refine job descriptions.
- Negotiates offers and coordinates onboarding processes with HR.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical recruiting, with a proven track record in direct-hire placements.
- Deep understanding of software development lifecycles, programming languages (Java, Python, C++, etc.), and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure).
- Strong ability to utilize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and advanced Boolean search techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with C-level executives and developers alike.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a part-time capacity.
- Validated experience in the California tech market is highly preferred.
